2003 ‘03′ V8 Vogue £11000 for sale
Ok, so, I’ve been toying with the idea of possibly moving on to a Mercedes CLS, seen a couple, driven one and I’ve been very impressed. I was after a CLS before I bought my RR 18 months ago, but the prices were a little high still, they’ve came down to an affordable level for me now, so, before I take the plunge and buy a house, I’m thinking sod it, I might try a different barge while I still can. (My parents aren’t getting rid of me yet!!!! So, mainly testing the water here, but here’s the details. 2003 ‘03′ V8 Vogue with just under 96k with LR main dealer and LR specialist history, taxed until 12/11 and MOT until 17th Nov 2011. Epsom green with Ivory leather & walnut wood and light green/Aspen carpets. In my opinion, one of the classiest colour combo’s, but that’s a personal thing, it does look fantastic in the sun due to it being pearlescent. Exterior is in very good order, being picky, there’s a mark on the back bumper, not really noticeable but it’s there all the same, there’s also a small scratch which has been touched in on the very lower back corner of the o/s/r door only about 1" though. Nothing else that I can really think of to be honest. Interior is in very good condition, Ivory seats are nice and clean, treated fortnightly with gliptone leather treatment to keep the leather tidy. Again, being picky, there’s a 1" scratch in the leather on the o/s/r seat base which I presume is off my nephews car seat, only noticed it yesterday, the rest of the trim is in good condition, carpets are clean with no stains. All the electrical items work, air con is ice cold. The only thing that’s temperamental is the rear parking sensors, they sometimes make the constant beep as if something is right behind the car, I’m going to address this and see what’s causing it, there’s some corrosion under the paint on one of the sensors so I’ll try that first. Standard Vogue spec plus the following: Tracker Mk4 nav with 2010 disc BMW BM54 with Aux input, currently linked with an ipod/iphone cable so charges and plays at the same time, Autobiography walnut interior door handles, standard foundry finish handles available too. Genuine LR Aspen/green leather bound over mats, original LR rubber mats included too for any off road days, not that this has ever been off road! 255/5519 MTR tyres, (original Goodyear HP tyres available too although maybe only 3mm on those) Genuine LR rigid boot protector with cubby hole tray Storage nets in boot Navcoder interface for setting TV in motion, DRL’s etc. 2007 spec red/clear tail lights with the side reflectors. In the time I’ve had it, I’ve had the following work carried out so it’s tip-top condition: 2 x ARB drop links Thermostat housing including all sensors due to broken sensor Header tank to radiator hose replaced PCV hoses changed O/S headlight glass and indicator due to original having a big stone chip which resulted in a big crack. Front diff recall completed last year at Team Valley LR Gateshead. 2 x service @ Team Valley LR 2 x front seat valance/side trims as originals worn and the silver trim cracked. Correct size Bosch silver top battery with 5 year warranty, (4 1/2 years left) Pics.
