For sale: Black GT Turbo Item Condition: Clock reads 178k, was converted to MPH last year, approx 115k miles (worst case) Exterior very clean (check the pictures to see the sparkle is still in the paint) with a few scratches and some paint fade on the roof Interior is very clean, no rips in the upholstery and it comes up nicely Price and price conditions: £2000 ONO Extra Info: I'd intended to keep this car much longer so I spent a fair bit putting decent things on (tyres & brakes to name a few) but I'm struggling to fit all my kit for work in and I've just been offered a diesel Bora (yawn) at a very good price and its time I went a bit more sensible. A real head turner, makes Corsa, Saxo, Clio etc drivers jealous I've had this beauty since December, bought her from a performance car specialist in Keighley, West Yorkshire and most of the miles she's done with me have been up and down the motorway to Plymouth and Portsmouth where she's been very happy. The handling still shocks me and in the current setup if you do push it over the edge the front tyres lose grip ages before the back ones so its easily corrected making it easy to drive fast I've driven just short of 11,000 miles in it since purchase, she hasn't skipped a beat, starts first time every time and has averaged 35mpg in a variety of driving conditions. Having just looked through all the receipts I was shocked at the amount of history actually here. All MOT certificates since she was imported are here (all except mine from this April are in km). All purchase receipts from myself and the 2 previous UK owners (3 UK owners total). First bought in March 06 for £3295 Second owner in March 10 for £2750 I bought her in December 10 for £2130 Export receipt, brought into the UK in Feb 06. Cambelt changed in April 06 at approximately 78k, so its done under 40k miles. Receipt from UK exhaust for a Cobra pipe in July 06. Receipt from Japtec for an MR2 gearbox in Jan 10. From myself: Pair of Continental Premiumcontact2 tyres fitted on the rear in January have covered less than 10k and have loads of tread left. Avon ZV3s up front still have a fair amount of life left as well. EBC Drilled & Grooved discs with green stuff pads covered 8k miles so have loads in them. Grooved rear discs with new pads and wheel bearings fitted at the MOT have covered less than 6k miles. Fuel filter fitted at the same time as the front discs. Oil was changed 4000 miles ago. I currently have in the garage a oil filter and magnetic sump plug which will be included in the sale. No receipt, but drivers side window motor was changed in May. Bad Points: Advisory on the MOT was handbrake efficiency, although it works fine for me if you pull it up and extra click. Front right of the bumper has a small scratch and a bit of paint crack (see picture) Roof came with some paint fade (pictured) Some small chips on the front of the bonnet Paint cracks on the inside of the passenger door-sill (pictured) Despite this there is no rust as I keep it waxed regularly to stop any water getting in to the chips. Slight tapet-y noise on tick over (the sort of noise anything none-japanese makes at about 60,000 miles!) In summary, a ridiculously fun car, genuine reason for sale, viewing is recommended, test drives available.
