I have owned this car since 1997 and for all of that time it has been garaged. The mileage includes many long gentle runs including the North of England/Yorkshire so it has had easy miles. It has been regularly maintained (the more technical items by an ex F1 mechanic) and is entirely original apart from the radio/CD which is a JVC unit that also plays Mp3s. There is also a nokia hands free kit installed that works through the radio speakers, and mutes the radio automatically. The most recent work has been some re-spraying of the bonnet, rear left wing, and some minor rust repair. It has 4 good tyres. The front disks and pads and rear pads were replaced relatively recently. Some brake hoses have been replaced as necessary, as well as new HT leads and distributor, fresh filters and oil. It has a relatively new windscreen in very good condition. The electric windows, mirrors (heated) and metal sun roof work fine. Both door locking solenoids have been replaced recently. A rear section of exhaust has recently been replaced. The cam belt is well within limits and has always been replaced in time. The oil does not need topping up between changes (9,000 miles), and on an economy run I achieved 47 miles to the gallon. The engine and automatic gear box work like silk, and the car has always started first time and has never let me down. There is minor rust on the rear right wheel arch, and the plastic passenger door lining has lifted slightly. The car is currently garaged, and has only done 3,000 miles since the last MOT when several items of the above-mentioned work were carried out. In my new job, the car allowance policy requires me to have a car under 6 years old, so I have put it in the garage and declared SORN to avoid wasting road tax and "MOT time" while I try to sell it. I am happy to sell it on the condition that it passes the MOT subject to a deposit. I have facilities to give a short demonstration run before committing to the MOT process, and following that I would expect to give a fuller test run if required. £699 ono
