for sale on behalf of a mate, but someone could be tempted to the wagon way of life, if i had sold the G2 this would be mine Model: Volkswagen Passat Estate VR6 2.8 Year: 1994 Mileage: 132kish Tax: Till December MOT: Mid – October – but could negotiatie on years ticket Location: Not far from Reading, Berkshire Price: £1400 – OR £990 – See below Contact details: lawsy @ veedubbery.co.uk (without the spaces) or 0 7 8 3 4 5 1 5 3 8 2 dont want to do this so soon, but needs must Looking at going self employed again so I need to free up some cash… think a lot of you know the car from my threads HERE – but just gonna try see if anyone interested… Its a 1994 B4 Passat Estate VR6 auto Its now got full black leather interior the car has been slammed on TA Technix Coilovers and does give a very comfortable ride, but there is still a lot of movement available for further slamming if required – or wanted to go lower its done around 135k miles which is nothing for a VR6 – there is no chain rattle at all and it runs really really well Got a folder full of paperwork and even a dealer brochure for the VR The crunch -Its been averaging about 25 mpg even with my heavy right foot Goes like stink, the auto box runs really smooth and pulls no problems through any of the gears – ITS very smooth – The gearbox is clever, if you stick it in D it behaves ECO friendly keeping revs down low, but if you push it it drops into a sport mode – basically shifts down a gear – but then you still have the kickdown as well, so from gentle cruising it feels like it has 2 kickdowns if you boot it and boy does it go.. MOT – is due next month – middle of october – I dont forsee any issues with it going through – it might get an advisory on the rear beam bush – but for now I'll price accordingly – MOT could be sorted (and will be sorted if i get time, but then price may go up) Has been de-badged for the proper wolf in sheeps clothing look the brakes are amazing – very very powerful Best points Proper wolf in sheeps clothing Rare car – Rumour has it VW only sold 29 in the uk and a lot have now been broken for the engines (mk2's etc) VR6 Engine – what an engine Its the estate model Full leather interior (non heated seats) Taxed till dec Folder of receipts Recent disc n pads all round – ABS renewed as well Brand new HT leads (cost over £60) Brand new FK induction it (well its done about 20 miles) and what a roar it gives Bad points short MOT somelaquer peel on the bonnet and roof, easy fix if your capable small amount of damage to door around lock area on passenger door Small rust bubble on drivers door Loose connections in rear doors mean rear speakers and windows are tempremental Bumpers are a little tatty Tow bar – good for adding to the wolf in sheeps clothing look, but could be a bad thing if you dont like them – I never minded as could be useful too Included in the sale if sells complete Car (obviously) Full leather interior Original Velour interior (but this up for sale seperately for £50) Original 15" VR6 BBS alloys with pretty much new tyres Porsche D90 wheels 6" front and 8" rears running 195/40/16 Toyo proxes up front and cheap 215/40/16's up rear – no kerb damage in any way VW 5 x 100 – Porsche 5 x 130 adaptors and all bolts required to fit safely Folder full of receipts Kenwood stereo head unit The good bits of the original suspension, i think it was a rear shock that was knackered so that was binned – all springs included Original airbox and filter FK motorsport Induction kit 3 month old Coilovers all badges from rear Price with everything £1450 ono without the Porsche D90 wheels and adaptors £995 ONO Pics The last pic shows it standard with the original ride height, badges and original wheels Car is based near Newbury.
