mk1 golf 2.0 16v atlas grey pirelli ediion for sale

October 28th, 2009

Im thinking about selling my mk1 :s Its a 1983 pirelli edition atlas grey! Apparantly the last time it was checked there was only 5 in the country that are genuine atlas grey models. Taxed til end of month and mot til may i think. Its got an audi 80 tilt slide sunroof, rear seats, shelf etc removed, so just 2 seats. momo steering wheel, debadged front grille, smoked rear lights. Now for the good bit This is far from standard, rebuilt by a company called br motorsport for track use, with a 1.816v kr engine, 2.0 corrado bottom end, reprofiled cam, vernier pullies, stage 3 head, ashley 4 branch, New powerflow exhaust system, new engine mounts and polybush rear mount. Stage 3 head cost over £500 The head was done by ad (headman) approximatley 1500 miles ago! Massive anti roll bars, rear disc conversion, 280mm g60 brakes up front. Cooilovers, A rare set of bmw ac schnitzer motorsport 15×7 type 1 wheels. You dont find them in this size and fitment. Rear strut brace and lower front brace. Estimated 190bhp, 150ft lb torque (judging by my freinds setup which is same as mine) This car is brilliant and im not sure on selling it, but i have 3 cars and none of them are sensible so either this or the mk1 caddy must go to get something that is! Bad bits bodywork! Its got rust here n there on the body, underneath is ok, needs new rear arches, rear valance, and front panel, and some bits of rust elsewhere sorting out. It comes with a genuine new vag front panel in the box, and a new rear valance. just need to get the rear arch repair panels. If it does not sell i will be stripping it down and getting all the bodywork done and a fresh respray, then it will be my weekend car I would not sell for any less than £2000, id rather keep it and do the work. in the last 1500 miles roughly its had about £900 spent on it with the head, exhaust engine mounts cambelt etc so this is surely a steal! I may px w.h.y ( classic bug, r6, b5 passat estate?) so included in the sale is genuine vag front panel new in box rear valance panel also have a solid bootlid which i was going to put on when it gets painted which il include rear seat to match fronts, and side mouldings for rear parcel shelf. think i have a polished rocker cover somewhere in the shed too that would need repolishing. This is a very quick mk1 golf and when the bodywork is done, will be a very nice motor. located in rugeley staffs thanks for looking all the pics can be found here http://s38.photobuck…26/fatdaz/golf/ – - – .
