For those who are not familiar, the Rivage is a limited edition Mk1 Gti which were the last of the Mk1 Cabriolet’s ever made, 200 Blue and 200 Green (although some say less), the Rivage has electric windows, electric Karmann hood, heated front seats and leather covered steering wheel and gear nob I have only owned this car since May, bought it for the wife to drive but she has been spoilt with power steering for too long now so she can’t manage the heavy steering. It has the original 15" Caselette wheels wich are in very good nick with good tyres, Yoko’s front Goodyear back, mint new Blue Mohair hood, Complete new Stainless steel exhaust system with Sebring tail pipe. New warm up regulator fitted and fuel injectors recently cleaned all done at Midlands VW. Most of the extensive service history is from Midlands VW by the 2 previous owners, think I am the 5th owner. When I bought the car it had cloth interior but I bought another car with complete cream leather including tonnea hood cover and swapped it over as well as the dash as the original had horrible little alarm sensors screwed to it and a flashing light drilled in it, the new one is mint and uncut. The leather is in good condition with only one small fag burn mark on the rear bench. Rear parcel shelf original and uncut. Bodywork is good but the paintwork is now showing its age, stone chips and laquer peel on the wing and bonnet but for 20 years old its not bad. The car has lowered suspension which is a bit lumpy for me but thats just me showing my age, does look lovely though. New Febi top mounts just fitted as well as Febi rear wheel bearings. Drives superb, still got lots of power from the original un-modified engine. Any questions will be answered with honesty, lots of pictures available on request [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [/img] [/img]
