Passat b5 feeler for sale

Righto as the story goes the missus has packed her bags so I thought I would treat my self and get another mk2 golf as I just love them. So…the sensible reliable motor must go. (daft I know but I reckon I deserve a smile and a 12v will just that). She’s a 1.8 20v N/A on about 180k (ex fleet so all easy motorway miles). Few rust spots but with a polish she looks mint. Interior is near enough perfect, much better than most cars of this age. I did have the FSH but think I lost it when I moved house. I still have the guys name who I bought it of if this would help prove its been looked after. Comes with later spec but standard alloys all with perfect brand new tyres, full tread on the lot. I’ve had her a year, serviced her a few days after purchase and only topped oil up once since then, last week. Bad points, Dash flashed OIL every time I start her. The oil level is fine and like I said I’ve just topped it up, if someone tells me why its doing this I’ll repair it before sale. Central locking is slightly blinky, NSF door does not work from CL but will lock all other doors, probably just a dropped earth but to be honest I’m crap at electrics so never bothered to fix it. Also central locking works from key but not from remote. Rust patch on roof. Slightly scruffed rear bumper, from loading and unloading. Slightly loose lower front bumper, but i’ll fix this next week. So maybe shouldn’t have mentioned it but I’m trying to be honest here. ABS light is on. ABS works fine, I think the NSF sensor needs replacing as it came on when I changed the bearing on this wheel about a month ago. Good points. first one is this car has never skipped a beat and never asked for anything. New tyres all round Newer alloys Very good interior with no missing bits All seats work as should with no tears or burns. Used every day and very smooth. returns between 30-40 mpg on a normal run, but I’ll admit I have a heavy foot so I normally average more like 32mpg. spare wheel, jack, brace and triangle all present. Standard head unit i the boot if you want it. Pass mot a few months ago with flying colours, no advisories. Taxed and tested. Will have to dig out the docs for exact dates but ask if interested. about 5 months tax and 9 months test. Its just an all round very nice and very reliable car.
