Rover 211i 8v S reg 1998 – ?650 ONO for sale

August 25th, 2009

Hi, For sale I have my Rover 211i (pics below), here’s the details: -Hawaiian Blue -3 doors -64,000 miles (averages at only 6000 miles per year) -15" Rover Phoenix alloy wheels (all in good condition and plenty of tyre tread) -Has had much work done on it since I bought it in January, now runs sweetly! Work done: -Fully serviced in March (including new air and fuel filters) -Cambelt done at 59,000 miles -New gearbox and clutch at 63,000 miles Additional minor changes: -New chrome wheel nuts and locking nuts (to replace standard Rover nuts) -BRM grill -De-oranged headlamps, osram nightbreaker bulbs (amazing) and silvatec indicator bulbs -Chrome side repeaters to complete the theme -Kenwood face-off stereo, with CD player and aux cable for any MP3 player/iPod/iPhone -4 x Co-axial speakers mounted in the original factory speaker mounts -Genuine Rover Armrest in matching cloth and trim -Genuine Rover wood effect gear knob, to match wood dash instead of getting rid! -Chrome exhaust tip (was well worth the £10 – looks better than the pea-shooter!) -Flat wiper blades (so much better than OE) -Small black forum stickers! Just in front of the rear wheel arches, they look good On top of all the above, it’s in really good condition for it’s age, inside and out, and has been well looked after. I have some service history and the original key fob with two keys (I also have the original key fob code from Rover). I think the 211 is pretty rare now, and ones I’ve seen are all fairly bog standard. This car is ideal for cheap running costs and insurance, maybe a first car for someone! Here’s some pics, if you’ve got any questions please reply to this thread, I’ll keep an eye on it! Thanks for looking, and don’t forget the ONO bit…I’m open to offers.
